Adam and I went to dinner at Irazu in Chicago. Irazu is a small, family-owned and operated Costa Rican restaurant. I read about it on the Internet about two years ago and was determined to dine there whenever I got to Chicago. Now, at long last, it has happened.

We ate outdoors on their covered patio, enjoying the temperature of 71 degrees.
Adam ate most of our chifrijo appetizer, since I was saving room for the large portions mentioned in reviews. I had a vegetarian burrito and an oatmeal shake. Adam had the casado and a blackberry/chocolate shake.
We went home full and happy.
